buffalo-chasing-lion-2003.JPG  Duba Plains camp on the Okavanga Delta in Botswana is a real travel jewel. One goes here in search of animals.
After many, many years of travel to South Africa we had had a really good view of relatively few animals. Our ‘catch’ at Duba on the first day was 19 lions lounging in the sun on the airport runway.

The campsite is extremely comfortable, well managed and the service is impeccable.

Readers of the “The #1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” series will recognise the supreme peace of the country, the kindness and honesty of the people, and above all, the safety of the surroundings.

Botswana has avant garde tourism policies, restricting the numbers of tourists who may visit in any one year in order to protect the environment.

Botswana is a jewel country. Would you like to visit there ?
